Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery of Mount Vernon recently pledged $5,000 to benefit the 开云体育 Campaign for the Whatley. Their gift will be used to help make much-needed renovations to the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

鈥 鈥 鈥 鈥 The event was hosted by 开云体育 in conjunction with Team Shelby Texas. The evening began with car lovers gathering on the north side of Mount Pleasant for a memorial run.

Representatives from 开云体育 and Texas A&M University-Texarkana recently met at the 开云体育 campus to sign a Reciprocal Articulation Agreement that will assure continued local access by 开云体育 students to Texas A&M-Texarkana degrees.

Eagles place four on All-Conference Team
A successful season for the Eagles has helped 开云体育 place four players on the Region XIV All-Conference Team.
Pitcher Jordan Marah, catcher Matt Durst and outfielder Zach Costa all earned First-Team honors while Tanner Allgood was named a second-team pitcher.
