¿ªÔÆÌåÓý will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 12 to assist students with registration for the Spring 2013 semester.
Housing Move-In Dates

Fall 2012 Academic Honors
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý is pleased to recognize students who excelled academically in Fall 2012. To be named to the Academic Honors list, a student must have taken 12 or more hours and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average. To be named to the Special Academic Merit List, a student must have taken between seven and 11 hours and earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý scholarships
The Carroll Shelby Foundation recently gave $25,000 to the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation. These funds will provide scholarships to students enrolled in the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Department. Cypress Bank supports The Campaign for the Whatley
Cypress Bank recently presented the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation with a check for $2,500. This gift, part of a total pledge of $5,000, was given in support of The Campaign for the Whatley - a community effort to revitalize the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý. TRMC Auxiliary gives allied health scholarships
The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently donated $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý majoring in an allied health field. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý holds winter 2012 commencement
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý held its winter 2012 commencement ceremony at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Dec. 14. During the ceremony 103 students were awarded associate degrees and 77 earned certificates of competency in their chosen fields. John Russo, ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý adjunct faculty member in history, gave the commencement address. Chelsea Cates, of Pittsburg, delivered the student response. A special presentation was made to LaSonya Feltus, who received a†posthumous†degree on behalf of her late husband, Edd Feltus.
2012-2013 Whatley Enhancement winners announced
The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation announced the winners of the 2012-2013 Whatley Employment Enhancement Awards this week. Seven out of the 20 proposals were chosen for funding.

The spirit of Christmas came to ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý last week†as†Communities In Schools (CIS) Coordinators and†volunteers gathered and boxed food to help feed local residents this holiday season.†The Spirt of Christmas food drive, sponsored by CIS, Brookshire's and Super 1 Foods, provided enough food for 500 families in Northeast Texas.
