Congratulations to our ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Art students/faculty who scored numerous awards in the recent Titus County Fair Photograph and Fine Arts Shows. We are so proud of them.
In the Photography show, Freshman Charis Roseberry earned several awards with her photographs as follows:
¿ªÔÆÌåÓý welcomes Artist Chris Brown as the exhibiting artist for October. His artwork will be on display from Friday, October 4th through Wednesday, October 23rd. A public reception will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.
The Culinary Arts program at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý will host a Ristorante Lunch Buffet with the theme "Strangers in the night" on Thursday, Oct. 10th from noon to 2 p.m. (come and go). Tickets are $25 per person and the event will be held at the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Culinary Arts School at 114 Jefferson Street in downtown Pittsburg.

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Rodeo team will be hosting the third NIRA Southern Region Rodeo of the season on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th. Friday night there will be a calf dressing and costume contest. There is no cost to enter and each three-person team will compete for gift cards and a ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Rodeo Apparel for the Calf Dressing and Costume Contest.
We would like to fill out the teams, with a max of 15 teams, with members of different ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Organizations/Sports Teams, Students, Faculty and Staff Groups.

This specialized, on-site training equipped city employees with the skills needed to safely and effectively operate heavy machinery, enhancing their ability to maintain public infrastructure.
