Over the past few months, ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý?s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program partnered with Dallas attorney Rob Miller to transform a 1965 Mustang to a race car that is set to be driven in the 2015 La Carrera Panamericana Race in Mexico starting on Oct. 16.

Thanks to the Friends of Honors Northeast, ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Honors students and professors were able to take their eighth annual cultural fall trip to Dallas/Fort Worth September 18.

Scott Wilhite, a student at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý, has been selected by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to receive a $1,500 scholarship as the 2015 Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholar.

A father of three children, Wilhite enrolled in college after being laid off from his job. A political science major, he earned a 3.92 grade point average at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In addition to his work within the chapter, Wilhite took on a role coordinating a work scholarship program for ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý†this summer.
