Dwain and Linda Blount sponsor Work4College scholarship

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Foundation recently received a donation from Dwain and Linda Blount of Mount Pleasant. Their gift will be used to sponsor a student in the Work4College Program. Pictured (from left) is Dwain, Linda and Mason May, Director of Work4College. There are currently 81 students participating in the summer Work4College Program. College closed July 4th

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The college will resume regular hours on Monday, July 7th. 

Students may still access online courses, register, make payments and manage other college business at . The second 5-week summer session begins Monday, July 14th and students can still sign up for classes.

Monse Rivero-Sanchez wins $16,000 PTK Board of Trustees Excellence in Leadership Scholarship

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý student Monse Rivero-Sanchez has been awarded the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees Excellence in Leadership Scholarship, a prestigious national honor that includes a $16,000 award toward her continued education. She is the first ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý student ever selected for this highly competitive scholarship.

Baseball plans high school showcase camp

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý (¿ªÔÆÌåÓý) Baseball program will host a High School Showcase Camp on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Eagle Field at Bob Baker Stadium. The event is open to high school students (grades 9-12) and college transfers interested in taking their game to the next level.

Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m., with the camp starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý coaching staff and will receive a written evaluation at the conclusion of the session.
