Description of Job Duties:

  • Teach assigned courses (EDUC 1301 and EDUC 2301) in accordance with the college's curriculum and learning objectives, in both face to face and online modalities (8 week and 16 week formats)
  • Deliver effective lesson plans
  • Utilize teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment

Experience and Other Qualifications Required:

  • Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Education required
  • Experience teaching in K-12 and higher education, face to face an

Ranch Manager

Purpose:

The Ranch Manager is responsible for working with college faculty to assist in facilitating labs at the college ranch. The Ranch Manager is responsible for oversight of the overall grounds and maintenance of the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Demonstration Ranch. This individual will be responsible for the care of the ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý livestock herd, and will make recommendations toward herd management. As Ranch Manager, he/she will be responsible for pasture management, to include, but not limited to spraying, fertilizing, mowing, and hay baling.

  • Requires a Master’s degree in a related, approved field
  • Previous experience providing classroom instruction preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Blackboard learning platform a plus
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and experience working effectively with culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse students, faculty/staff, communities, and organizations
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motiv

Nursing wins 2025 "Taste of ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý: Battle of the Booths" event

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Taste of ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý: Battle of the Booths event was a huge success! Seven booths served up a variety of delicious dishes for sampling by a large crowd of students, faculty, staff and community members. Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the participating clubs and organizations.

Each ticket holder was able to cast votes for their favorite booths. The winners of the People’s Choice awards were as follows:

Baseball headed to postseason play

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý Eagles finished the regular season sweeping Navarro College three games to zero to earn the second seed in the Region 14 post season tournament South Bracket. 

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý won game one of the series on Tuesday at Northeast 13-9 and then headed to Corsicana on Saturday to finish out the regular season and earn the sweep with a tight 3-2 win in game two and a 9-4 win in game three of the series.

Men’s Rodeo team qualifies for College National Finals Rodeo

The ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý (¿ªÔÆÌåÓý) Men’s Rodeo Team is heading to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming, June 15-21, 2025, after claiming the team title at the final Southern Region College Rodeo of the season, hosted by Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas.
