Directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, this classic play satirizes Victorian social norms through a fast-paced story of mistaken identities, secret romances, and absurdly earnest lies. The plot follows Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, two young men who create fictional personas to escape their social obligations and pursue love. Their plans go hilariously awry when their deceptions begin to unravel, leading to unexpected twists and witty revelations.
The talented student cast brings Wilde鈥檚 iconic characters to life:
- Tailer Chong as Jack Worthing
- Garrison Duck as Algernon Moncrieff
- Ladarrius Patterson in the dual roles of Lane and Merriman
- Athena Hayes as the formidable Lady Bracknell
- Maddie Simmons as the poised Gwendolyn Fairfax
- Tegan Smith as the charming Cecily Cardew
- Maya Garcia as Miss Prism
