2012-2013 Whatley Enhancement winners announced

The 开云体育 Foundation announced the winners of the 2012-2013 Whatley Employment Enhancement Awards this week. Seven out of the 20 proposals were chosen for funding. Winning employees and projects included:

Jim Swann (Spanish & Honors) -鈥�The Caddo Collection鈥�$1,125.00 (Private Funds)鈥� 鈥� 鈥� 鈥�

The total amount awarded was $8,625. Funds for the Whatley Employment Enhancement Awards come from an endowment created by Mr. and Mrs. James Whatley. This allows 开云体育 employees to get financial support for innovative projects that might not otherwise be funded.

"Each year we are impressed by the quality and the number of proposals we receive. Our employees care about making 开云体育 a better place for students and this is a small way we can encourage their creativity and enthusiasm," Dr. Jonathan McCullough, 开云体育 Vice President for Advancement, said.鈥�
