Jeltje has a varied work history working as a High School Spanish Teacher at Como-Pickton, a Tour Coordinator for different tour agencies in the mountains of Peru, a Franklin County Library Clerk in Mt Vernon, Content Moderator for a start-up in Barcelona, an Account Representative and Loan assistant at a bank in Mt Vernon, a barista at a small café in Winnsboro, among other interesting work opportunities which she feels like gives her a good perspective to help students in her Navigator role. She has lived in East and West Texas, North Dakota, Peru, Spain, Germany and is originally from the Netherlands, although East Texas is now considered home. Jeltje started her college journey at ¿ªÔÆÌåÓý after receiving her GED and attending classes there in the early 2000’s and later receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Spanish from Texas A & M – Commerce. In her free time, Jeltje enjoys reading books as well as spending time with her friends and family.
